It is so important that parents do not worry too much about the speed of their child’s development. Yes, children should reach developmental milestones on time (or close, within a couple of months), but don’t despair if your child is “average” or even “below average.”
I promise that when your baby is 25 and going in for a big job interview, they are not going to ask him/her at what age he/she was potty trained. The deciding factor won’t be whether he/she was speaking in complete sentences by age 2. Things that will matter in that situation are the child’s attitude, willingness to persevere, and respect for their fellow human beings; those are things that can be taught to any child.

With my first I was so excited for him to walk, talk, run etc… I am really enjoying that things are going so much slower with my next two!

I agree, kids will, for the most part, catch up regardless of potty training age, when they could properly pronounce their G’s and T’s!
