We waited 6 years after we got married because I was so terrified. I kept waiting to have all my anxieties resolved before I got pregnant. Finally, I had to realize that my fears would never completely go away and that I just had to do it.
Now my baby girl is 18 months old, and I can honestly say she is the best thing that ever happened to me. Motherhood can be difficult. But on the difficult days, all you have to do is look at your baby to be filled with the most unbelievable love. It’s a love that you won’t truly understand until you have a child…and it’s the greatest thing in the world.
